tepta 25th anniversary exhibition / and the sunset inside the iron cube-istanbul museum of modern art
Architect Bilgehan Şenel 's 'sunset inside the iron cube'
takes inspiration from the reflections of daylight on the sea that surrounds
the city we live in.The artwork features reflections of pastel colors turning
into bright oranges, pinks and purples that sporadically merge into each
other. Both the raw and natural materials used in the artwork and the way they
were applied highlight İstanbul's complexity as an incomplete city which is
constantly under construction ,its architectural disfiguration, its
socio-cultural diversity and how it presents a different perspective at every
corner.
